Beautiful old place, I liked to be here.
Everything was very good, good value. The hotel was clean, the room was brand-new and the bed was large. The breakfast was freshly prepared with pastries, fresh fruit, hot dishes. The staff members were all attentive and hard-working.

Overall it is a pleasant hotel and we truly enjoyed the stay, the location was stunning in a forest. The best thing is location - just off restaurant. The nice onsite bar serves carbonated drinks. Thank you for a perfectly pleasant stay.

After reading many reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect. I usually expect the worse. But I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were on par with an average Travelodge. Actually better than- You get tea making facilities here, unlike Travelodge. The room was clean and modern enough. It's a pub hotel after all, not a 5 star hotel. My only niggle with the room was- The shower head must have been installed by a dwarf. I'm 6' and had to crouch to wash my hair. As I said it is a niggle. Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy. As for Wi-Fi- well like many places, it now uses the cursed "Cloud" internet access. Which blocks any words it doesn't like. The restaurant in the evening is situated next to the bar, you can eat in the bar if you so wish. As a previous review stated. It does seem to be microwave style food. Like many pub chains nowadays. But it filled a hole in my little stomach. Breakfast was good enough, choice of cooked and, or cold things. Service was always quick and polite. Parking was directly outside the pub; road noise didn't bother me in the room at all. So all in all The Roebuck exceeded expectations, for that it should be commended! I will stay again no doubt.
Wi-Fi limitations. Microwave style food- but it was expected

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the food both at dinner and brekfast, it was tasty! The building looked pretty, such lovely surroundings. Even tho its right on the main road, it felt peaceful n chill. The drinks were good too, had a nice time at the bar.
The room could do with some updates, just felt a bit tired. The bathroom wasn't great, could use some work.
